Patrick Wing is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Silverstar Security LLC, a firm established with a clear mission: to deliver exceptional investigative services with professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to results.

With more than two decades of distinguished service in the New York City Police Department, Patrick attained the rank of Captain. Throughout his career, he built and mentored highly skilled investigative teams dedicated to operational excellence and accountability. He had the privilege of working alongside some of the most accomplished investigators in the field—relationships he continues to maintain today.

Patrick’s extensive experience spans law enforcement, higher education, public safety, and private investigations. His leadership assignments included serving as Commanding Officer of four Detective Squads, and throughout his career he oversaw Special Operations, Narcotics Enforcement, Community Policing initiatives, and Patrol Operations. These roles sharpened his expertise in investigative strategy, operational command, intelligence coordination, and high-level case management.

Following his NYPD career, Patrick served as Director of Uniform Services & Investigations at New York University, where he directed security operations and investigative functions supporting more than 50,000 students, faculty, and staff across the university's New York campus and 15 global locations. He supervised more than 400 security officers and supervisors, and oversaw investigators responsible for criminal, civil, and employee misconduct investigations while coordinating closely with law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and university counsel.

Patrick later served as Director of Public Safety & Emergency Management at St. John's University, where he directed public safety operations, emergency management programs, and complex investigations involving Title IX matters, workplace misconduct, threat assessments, and campus safety concerns. In this role, he led a workforce of more than 300 personnel and worked closely with university leadership, legal counsel, and law enforcement agencies to address critical safety and security matters.

​In addition to his operational leadership, Patrick became a New York State Certified Instructor and served as a lecturer at the NYPD Academy, where he trained and mentored the next generation of investigators.

Patrick holds a Master of Science in Public Administration from New York University, strengthening his foundation in executive leadership, public policy, and organizational management.
